About the Role:
Adecco is looking for a Senior Engineer â Infrastructure Technology on a 12-month contract. The role is part of the Infrastructure & Corporate Systems team and focuses on enhancing operational technology systems across baggage handling, screening, and engineering systems.
The candidate will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining IT and OT infrastructure for operational technology systems. This position requires close collaboration with project stakeholders, engineering teams, and IT/OT SMEs to ensure technology standards are maintained and projects are delivered successfully.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage IT & OT infrastructure for operational systems.
• Work on baggage handling, screening, and engineering systems projects.
• Implement and maintain SCADA, HMI, PLC integrations, industrial protocols.
• Ensure networking (LAN/WAN), server, storage, virtualization, and cybersecurity compliance.
• Collaborate with project managers, solution architects, and stakeholders to capture requirements and deliver solutions.
• Conduct testing, commissioning, and handover of systems to meet agreed standards.
• Support IT/OT convergence and transformation programs.

• Bachelorâs degree in computer science, Computer Applications, or related fields.
• 7â10 years of overall experience, with 5â7 years relevant in IT/OT infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with baggage handling, operational technology systems, or similar engineering systems.
• Strong knowledge of SCADA/HMI/PLC, networking, virtualization, server/storage, cybersecurity.
• Project management, stakeholder coordination, and IT/OT transformation experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills.
