About the OpportunityWe’re seeking a senior sales leader with a strong background in Equities and FI derivatives, particularly within the EEA market, and familiarity with crypto. This individual will be responsible for driving institutional sales, building strategic relationships, and leading a high-performing sales team.
 
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Sales Leadership & Team Coordination: Oversee day-to-day sales operations, including scheduling client calls, setting up meetings, and managing the team’s calendar to optimize productivity and client engagement.
  • Business Development & Pipeline Growth: Identify and pursue institutional sales opportunities. Build and manage a robust pipeline by sourcing and converting leads, moving from consultative discussions to advisory engagements with institutional clients.
  • Client Profiling & Strategy: Develop a strategic profile for each client by identifying successful case studies and replicating them. Collaborate with marketing to channel efforts where they’re most impactful.
  • Revenue Generation: Drive revenue by closing high-impact, high-value deals. Assess new revenue streams and partnership opportunities, with a focus on innovative offerings, such as native crypto products.
  • Risk & Compliance Management: Ensure that prospective clients uphold financial, reputational, and regulatory standards, safeguarding our business integrity.
  • Sales Proposals & Presentations: Prepare and deliver impactful presentations and proposals to potential clients, positioning the company’s value propositions effectively.
  • Negotiation & Contracting: Lead negotiations on commercial terms, collaborating closely with legal to secure favorable terms that protect the company’s interests.
  • Client Feedback & Product Development: Act as a bridge between clients and internal teams, conveying feedback on product and service needs to drive continuous improvement.
  • Regional Brand Representation: Serve as the face of the company in the region, enhancing brand visibility and positioning within the institutional space.
  • Collaboration with Marketing: Work hand-in-hand with the marketing team to seamlessly execute targeted sales campaigns.

  • Passion for Crypto: Demonstrated enthusiasm and depth of knowledge in crypto products, with a focus on institutional applications.
  • Proven Sales Success: Extensive experience in institutional sales, from pipeline building to closing complex, high-value deals.
  • Expert in Contract Negotiation: Skilled in negotiating commercial terms and adept at working with legal teams to secure optimal agreements.
  • Institutional Landscape Knowledge: Strong understanding of the institutional crypto and derivatives market within the EEA region, with a broad network and established relationships.
  • Regulatory Awareness: Up-to-date on the evolving regulatory landscape in crypto and financial derivatives, with an ability to anticipate impacts on business.
  • Organizational Excellence: Strong planning and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and opportunities in a structured, organized way.
  • Core Qualities: Self-motivated, team-oriented, independent, detail-oriented, and an effective problem solver.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Consistent Sales Track Record: Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales targets, particularly in high-revenue environments.
