The Senior Mechanical Technical Engineer is responsible in providing advanced technical expertise in mechanical engineering, guiding project teams, and ensuring the successful implementation of mechanical systems. They lead the design, analysis, and optimization of mechanical components, contributing to the efficiency, safety, and innovation of projects. Additionally, they collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client needs and industry standards.
Lead the design and development of mechanical systems and components, ensuring adherence to project requirements, codes, and standards.
Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, including engineers, designers, and technicians, throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct detailed mechanical engineering analyses, such as stress analysis, thermal analysis, and fluid dynamics simulations, to optimize system performance and reliability.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to understand project requirements and develop innovative mechanical solutions that meet their needs.
Review and approve mechanical design documents, including drawings, calculations, and specifications, to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
Perform site inspections and audits to assess the installation and operation of mechanical systems, identify deficiencies, and recommend corrective actions.
Oversee the commissioning and testing of mechanical systems, ensuring they meet design specifications and performance requirements.
Provide technical support during construction, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and coordinating with subcontractors and vendors to resolve them promptly.
Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in mechanical engineering, incorporating them into project designs to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
Mentor junior engineers and provide training on mechanical engineering principles, software tools, and industry standards to support their professional development and growth.
Profound understanding of mechanical engineering principles, codes, and standards relevant to MEP projects.
Expertise in HVAC system design, plumbing layouts, and fire protection systems, with a focus on optimizing energy efficiency and sustainability.
Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation, to ensure successful project delivery.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively liaise with clients, stakeholders, and project team members.
Problem-solving aptitude to address complex technical challenges and adapt to evolving project requirements.
ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
Minimum 8 year(s) working experience, 5 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus
