Lead the design, planning, and implementation of Electrical/Mechanical systems for diverse projects.
Conduct detailed technical analysis and provide engineering solutions for mechanical/electrical systems, ensuring energy efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate closely with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met and expectations are exceeded.
Manage and review Electrical/Mechanical design calculations, drawings, and specifications, ensuring compliance with local and international codes and regulations.
Oversee the preparation of feasibility studies, cost estimates, and project schedules.
Perform site visits, inspections, and project reviews to monitor progress and ensure the quality and compliance of installed Electrical/Mechanical systems.
Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technical staff, providing guidance and fostering their professional growth.
Identify and manage project risks, ensuring timely resolution of issues and challenges.
Ensure effective communication and coordination between all project teams, ensuring smooth project execution and delivery.
Contribute to business development efforts, including client meetings, proposal preparation, and identifying new opportunities.
Key Qualifications :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience working in MEP engineering, and previous experience in an engineering consultancy environment. At least 3 years of experience in a senior or lead role.
Extensive knowledge of Electrical/Mechanical systems design, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and building automation systems.
Experience with industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, HAP, or other relevant MEP design tools).
Strong understanding of local and international building codes, safety standards, and energy regulations.
Excellent project management skills, including experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, client communications, and overseeing multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to troubleshoot complex engineering problems and provide innovative solutions.
