As a Senior Software Engineer for the eCommerce Enhancements initiative, you will drive the evolution of high-traffic digital sales channels for a premier international airline. Your role is to design and deliver sophisticated, enterprise-grade user interfaces that ensure a seamless booking and retail experience for millions of global passengers, directly impacting the airlines commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Development: Design and develop complex, scalable web applications using Angular 10+, TypeScript, and modern CSS/HTML architectures.

  
  

• Performance Engineering: Optimize front-end performance, ensuring low-latency interactions and high responsiveness across diverse geographical regions.

  
  

• API & Data Management: Architect robust integrations with RESTful APIs, leveraging RxJS and Angular services for efficient data handling.

  
  

• Quality & Standards: Maintain high code quality through rigorous unit testing (Jasmine/Karma), addressing technical debt, and ensuring the scalability of the eCommerce ecosystem.

  
  

• Collaboration: Partner with UX/UI designers and backend teams in an Agile environment to translate complex business requirements into high-fidelity functional features.

  
  

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience: 5–8 years of professional software development experience, with a minimum of 5 years specifically focused on complex Angular applications.

  
  

• Technical Core: Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Strong grasp of OOP principles and design patterns.

  
  

• Integration: Proven track record of integrating front-end components with enterprise-level RESTful services.

  
  

• Testing: Solid experience in automated testing and debugging within the Angular ecosystem.

  
  

• Industry Context: Previous experience within the Aviation/Airline sector is highly advantageous; candidates who have previously contributed to flydubai projects are most preferred.

  
  

• Knowledge of performance techniques (Lazy loading, AOT compilation).

  
  

• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines in an enterprise setting.
