Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a well-reputed Food Manufacturing Company in the UAE. Our client is looking for a Shift Supervisor - Starch who will oversee the starch production process, ensuring smooth operations while maintaining production capacity as per plan. The role involves reducing downtime through effective maintenance planning, producing goods that meet local and international standards, and fulfilling customer requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure product quality meets set standards.
- Adjust machines and parameters for smooth plant operations and optimal results.
- Record daily tank dips and starch transfers accurately for reporting.
- Identify and report production area hazards; conduct Tool Box Talks.
- Maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards in the production area.
- Adhere to health, safety, and food safety policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with Maintenance Team and Assistant Plant/Production Manager for job planning.
- Prepare daily reports and incident logs for the Assistant Plant/Production Manager.
- Ensure proper shift handover with key issues and events highlighted.

Requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Diploma.
- Minimum 6 years in production, with 5 years in a starch production plant.
- Health and Safety trainings or certifications preferred (e.g., IOSH Managing and Operating Safely).
- Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, teamwork, interpersonal understanding, customer service orientation, and integrity to drive performance and achieve goals.
- Possesses technical expertise in safety and environment procedures, mechanical and electrical maintenance, and showcases excellent planning and organizational abilities.
- Exhibits strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a commitment to people development for fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
