Social Worker - Abu Dhabi

We are recruiting experienced Social Workers to join an exciting new adult service in Abu Dhabi. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in a modern and supportive clinical environment.

Role Overview
The Social Worker will play a key role in supporting adult patients through assessment, counselling, crisis and trauma intervention and care coordination. You will work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses and the wider clinical team to ensure patients receive comprehensive and holistic support tailored to their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide psychosocial assessments, counselling and therapeutic interventions
• Support patients in crisis or experiencing trauma
• Advocate for patient needs, rights and wellbeing
• Link patients to appropriate community resources and external support services
• Engage and support families and caregivers
• Contribute to multidisciplinary treatment planning and case management
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and professional standards

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work - essential
• Master's Degree in Social Work - essential
• Minimum 2 years' post-qualification experience as a Social Worker
• Experience working with adult mental health, crisis or trauma cases
• Strong communication, counselling and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
