The role?
The Offshore Crane Contract Training Coordinator is responsible for organizing, managing, and overseeing training programs for personnel involved in offshore crane operations. This role ensures compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and contractual requirements. The coordinator collaborates with stakeholders, including training providers, crane maintenance and operations personnel, and project managers, to deliver effective training programs that enhance operational efficiency and safety.
Main Responsibilities & Key Result Areas
1. Training Program Coordination:
- Plan, organize, and schedule offshore crane operation and maintenance personnel training programs.
- Ensure training aligns with client contract requirements, industry standards (e.g., API RP 2D), and safety regulations.
2. Compliance and Documentation:
- Maintain records of training schedules, participant certifications, and assessments.
- Verify compliance with local, national, and international regulations for crane operations.
- Audit training processes to ensure alignment with contractual obligations and organizational standards.
3. Stakeholder Management:
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and EnerMech Employees to identify training needs.
- Communicate training schedules, objectives, and expectations to relevant stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates and reports to management on training outcomes.
4. Logistics and Resource Allocation:
- Coordinate training venues, equipment, and materials for onshore and offshore sessions.
- Manage budgets related to training programs.
- Ensure the availability of client certified trainers and assessors for each program.
5. Continuous Improvement:
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance assessments
- Implement improvements to training methodologies, content, and delivery.
- Stay updated on advancements in crane technology, operational techniques, and safety standards.
