The position reports to the Field Medical Affairs Manager, and the area to be covered is part of East zone of Algeria.


The Position


As a Regional Medical Advisor in Novo Nordisk, you will contribute actively to building and maintaining scientific understanding of Novo Nordisk marketed products and to the development of portfolio products.


Main accountabilities include:


  • Share up-to-date medical knowledge and clinical trial data with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), and other healthcare decision-makers using scientific and clinical expertise.
  • Coordinate educational programs to train internal staff on scientific data and support the Business Unit in developing marketing strategies and managing medical projects and events.
  • Identify business trends, insights, and needs to enhance patient outcomes and optimize Novo Nordisk's product portfolio in alignment with corporate strategies and compliance.
  • Participate in medical initiatives, including investigator-sponsored studies, real-world evidence creation, publication planning, and global clinical trials.

Qualifications


To be successful in this role, it’s required to be graduated as Medical Doctor.


You also need to have:


  • At least 5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical industry.
  • Excellent networking capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to apply in-depth scientific knowledge and effectively translate it into daily clinical practice.
  • Good level of written & spoken English and French.
  • Readiness to travel abroad and participate in evening scientific events.
