Role Overview

The Business Development Manager will own the end-to-end sales and outreach process focused on booking executive coaches onto speaking stages and strategic platforms. This role blends outbound outreach, research, relationship management, and full pipeline ownership across email, LinkedIn, and calls. You will engage both external partners and internal executive coaches, acting as a liaison to coordinate opportunities that support long-term client creation while managing all activity and reporting through HubSpot.


Key ResponsibilitiesOutbound Outreach & Pipeline Creation
  • Execute outbound outreach across email, LinkedIn, and calls to stage bookers, event organizers, podcasts, and conferences.


  • Research and identify relevant speaking and platform opportunities aligned with executive coach positioning.


  • Maintain consistent daily outreach activity with structured follow-up cadences.


  • Initiate and nurture conversations that lead to booked speaking opportunities.


Full-Cycle Sales & CRM Ownership
  • Own the pipeline from initial outreach through booked opportunity and internal handoff.


  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in HubSpot, including notes, tasks, stages, and next steps.


  • Ensure every interaction has clear outcomes and forward momentum.


Relationship Management & Coordination
  • Build trust-based relationships with external partners and event organizers.


  • Act as the liaison between external partners and internal executive coaches.


  • Coordinate scheduling, expectations, and communication to ensure smooth execution.


  • Operate with integrity by honoring commitments and communicating proactively.


Reporting & Optimization
  • Report weekly on outreach activity, pipeline health, and booked opportunities.


  • Continuously refine messaging, targeting, and outreach strategy based on results and feedback.


  • Adapt quickly in a high-feedback, fast-changing environment.


QualificationsExperience
  • 2–5+ years of experience in a full-cycle sales, outbound, partnerships, or business development role.


  • Hands-on experience with outbound outreach via email, LinkedIn, and calls.


  • Experience managing pipelines in a CRM, with HubSpot preferred.


Skills
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.


  • High organizational skills with strong follow-through and time management.
