The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential clients, qualifying leads, and setting meetings for the sales leadership team.
This role plays a critical part in driving business growth by:
Initiating high-quality conversations
Generating pipeline
Ensuring smooth handoffs to the sales team
The SDR will:
Make high-intent outbound calls to U.S.-based executives, including:
CMOs
VPs of Marketing
CEOs
Founders
Engage prospects in concise, value-driven discovery conversations aligned with company strategy
Qualify prospects based on:
Need
Authority
Timing
Strategic fit
The SDR will:
Schedule and book calendar-accepted meetings for the sales leadership team
Ensure smooth and timely handoff of qualified leads to the sales team for follow-up and closing
The SDR will:
Confidently handle objections and move conversations forward to progress the sales process
Log detailed and accurate notes, insights, and next steps in the CRM
Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all prospect interactions
The SDR will:
Work closely with leadership to refine talk tracks, objection handling, and messaging strategies
Collaborate with the marketing team to align outreach efforts with campaigns and messaging
2–4+ years of experience in a Sales Development or Business Development role calling into the U.S. market
Experience selling complex, non-commodity services such as consulting, marketing, creative, or agency services
Strong verbal and written English communication skills; bilingual Spanish/English is preferred
Familiarity with consultative sales frameworks such as Sandler, Challenger, GAP Selling, MEDDICC, or similar
Ability to run insight-led discovery and executive-level conversations
Proficiency with CRM tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar platforms
Resilient, coachable, and disciplined in a phone-first sales environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Goal-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to lead generation and sales development
Success in this role includes:
Consistently meeting or exceeding lead generation and appointment-setting targets
Effectively qualifying prospects and ensuring smooth handoffs to the sales team
Positive feedback from leadership and teammates regarding communication, professionalism, and effectiveness
Well-documented and organized CRM activity contributing to a healthy sales pipeline
