A little taste of your day-to-day


Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:


  • Oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable, including managing workflows, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments
  • Ensure that financial deadlines are met and that customer service is provided to all internal stakeholders
  • Monitor accounts and ensure that any discrepancies are identified and resolved
  • Assist with the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
  • Manage the budget and ensure optimal cost savings
  • Prepare monthly and annual reports for management
  • Participate in the preparation of the annual audit
  • Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc
  • Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
  • Maintaining historical records
  • Paying employees by verifying expense reports and preparing pay checks
  • Paying vendors by scheduling pay checks and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor enquiries regarding finance
  • Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports
  • Continuing to improve the payment process
  • Establish adequate internal controls and procedures for all revenues and expenses and safeguard all of assets. ​
  • Dealing honestly and fairly with clients, customers, suppliers and financial partners. The long-term success of the Company depends upon establishing mutually beneficial relationships.
  • Should be flexible in doing assigned task allotted by finance head

What we need from you


  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar credit control or supervisory role in the hospitality industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Other:


  • Reading abilities are utilized often when reading invoices and work materials.
  • Mathematical skills are used frequently to perform calculations, reconcile account balances, etc.
  • Frequent contact with guests and outside vendors is necessary to resolve billing issues or answer questions.  Strong customer service skills are required.
  • May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
