Position: Bakery Manager
Qualifications:

-Ability to work friendly and professionally in a high-paced, dynamic environment that requires multi-tasking, maintaining diplomacy, and making sound judgements.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
1- Manages safety program and is ultimately responsible for plant safety; maintains safety as top priority in accordance with all company safety rules and regulations.
2- Ensures facility compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and objectives.
3- Responsible for compliance with all food safety regulations.
4- Develops, implements, and monitors annual plant budget, reviews monthly expenditures.
5. Approves accounts payables ensuring all corporate accounting procedures all followed.
6. Recruits and hires plant, fleet, and administrative personnel; selects participants for management training program.
7. Establishes and maintains appropriate wage rates for personnel subject to corporate approval.
8. Responsible for proper training of all employees.
9. Monitors relationships with raw material suppliers; resolves issues when necessary; continuously monitors geographic area for new suppliers.
10. Responsible for plant transportation needs for both raw material and finished product, and for all modes of transportation used such as rail car, truckload, barge, etc.
11. All other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
1. 7-10 years of progressive management experience in CPG (Consumer Product Goods, or Food/Bakery or related food industry preferred.
2. Exposure to multiple Supply Chain and other business disciplines (Purchasing, manufacturing, logistics, R&D, etc.) in previous positions or project work.
3. Strong understanding of manufacturing unit operations.
4. Exceptional project management skills.
5. Exceptional influence management skills with the ability to manage cross-functional resources without direct reporting relationships.
6. Excellent communication skills - both formal and informal with the ability to communicate within all levels of the organization.
7. Highly collaborative leadership style with the ability to lead effectively and handle conflict in cross-functional integration role.
8. College degree level of knowledge of several subjects in order to perform calculations, analyse data, prepare reports, and deal effectively with people.
9. Empowerment, Collaboration, Motivation and Enthusiasm - Generate appropriate team building skills within an organization; Adaptable to change; Effective motivational and leadership skills. Builds and maintains partnering relationships with other departments and key managers.
