Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement tax strategies aligned with business objectives and integrated into corporate planning.
• Lead standardized tax planning and reporting processes across the organization in line with global regulations and best practices.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Treasury, Shared Services, and Financial Control teams to embed tax considerations into financial operations.
• Coordinate with SBUs and departments to streamline tax reporting and ensure compliance.
• Oversee the preparation, review, and submission of local and international tax reports, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Identify opportunities for tax optimization and cost savings while ensuring full compliance with applicable laws.
• Manage the end-to-end tax compliance process, including income, sales, property, and payroll taxes.
• Provide strategic tax advice to senior leadership on business decisions, acquisitions, and structuring.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring proactive compliance and risk mitigation.
• Establish and maintain KPIs to measure tax reporting accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Work cross-functionally with finance, legal, and operations teams to align tax strategies with business initiatives.
• Propose and manage the annual business plan and budget for the tax function, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 15 years of experience in tax reporting, ideally within the Oil & Gas sector.
• At least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of tax laws, accounting standards, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex tax environments
