Storekeeper to support our
Engineering Department. If you’re productive, meticulous, and eager to contribute to a dynamic team, we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities include verifying incoming goods against orders and invoices to ensure accuracy in type, amount, price, and quality, as well as maintaining safe and organized storage.
What you will do
Manage the inventory of supplies and materials, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely replenishment.
Receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments, verifying quantities and conditions against purchase orders.
Maintain organization and cleanliness of the storeroom, ensuring easy access to items.
Record and track inventory movements, preparing reports as needed for management.
Assist staff with supply requests and ensure all items are distributed in a timely manner.
What you bring
Strong ability to organize and manage inventory efficiently, ensuring that all items are stored correctly and easily accessible.
Meticulous in tracking inventory levels, conducting regular stock counts, and ensuring accuracy in inventory records to prevent discrepancies.
Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications for tracking inventory and generating reports.
Effective verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with other departments and relay inventory needs.
Capability to identify issues in inventory management and implement effective solutions quickly.
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines and support the operations.
Understanding the importance of providing timely support to team members and being responsive to their inventory requests.
Previous experience in a storeroom or inventory control role within the hospitality industry or similar environment is preferred.
Flexibility to adjust to changing inventory needs and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
