This position works remotely in the Diabetes Care division.

What You’ll Do



  • Lead the salesforce towards achieving sales goals.
  • Establish and maintain a highly effective and motivated sales team.
  • Direct a team of District Sales Managers on sales planning, execution and HR issues.
  • Interact with marketing as required on all salesforce execution issues and strategic direction.
  • Interact with Sales Operations to address performance reporting and data issues.
  • Actively participate in both the Demand and S&OP meetings providing input on current market intelligence (competitor activity, impact of marketing programs and customer satisfaction with company products and programs) and on proposed forecast.
  • Conduct in field work with days with sales representatives to assess market conditions and customer acceptance of Abbott products and marketing strategies, develop Key Opinion Leaders and or support key hospital initiatives.
  • Review salesforce Performance Excellence appraisals and ensure consistency and equity among sales teams.
  • The territory for this position spans from Ontario to the Atlantic provinces.
  • Travel: 40%.

Required Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in Health Science or a related field.
  • 8+ years of medical device sales management experience.
  • Product management experience.
