THE ROLE

Our customers rely on our products, FlashArray and FlashBlade, for effortless management, relentless innovation, and the gold standard in reliability. As we expand our capabilities into the cloud with services like CloudSnap and Cloud Block Store for AWS, we are solving the complex problem of uniting on-premises performance with public cloud agility. Our engineering teams are at the heart of this innovation. We don't just write code; we own the end-to-end development of new features that define our product roadmap. Whether you're looking to take ownership of a new feature, drive the technical direction of a major project, or tackle our most challenging architectural problems, you will have the opportunity to make a massive impact. Our teams collaborate closely across functions and locations to ensure our work directly aligns with customer needs and redefines what's possible in cloud-native applications.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Take end-to-end ownership of features, from initial concept through development and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and product management to ensure features meet customer needs.
• Drive technical direction by representing the team in technical leadership meetings and sharing expertise.
• Analyze and solve challenging technical problems while maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Focus on customer satisfaction by delivering valuable solutions and embracing continuous learning within a supportive team environment.
• We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Prague office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Proven experience working with C++ in a professional or academic setting.
• Proficiency in a systems software domain, which may include distributed systems, operating systems, Linux kernel, database internals, hypervisors, containers, or compiler optimization.
• Familiarity with another programming language, such as Java, Python, or Go.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to a team.
• A proactive engineering approach with a focus on problem-solving and clean, maintainable code.
• A demonstrated design sensibility and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
