Coders Connect is proud to be partnering with a global leader in smart pest control solutions, to support hiring within theirInnovation Centrejust outside of Copenhagen. As part of a forward-thinking unit that functions like a startup within the company, they are building the next generation of IoT-powered, data-driven services.

With over1 million IoT devicesin the field, the data team plays a critical role in ensuring high-volume data is efficiently captured, processed, and leveraged for insights. To support this mission, we’re looking for aDanish-speaking Data Engineerto join their agile cross-functional team.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain data pipelines that process hourly batch data from a large-scale network of IoT devices
  • Work primarily inAzureandDatabricks, implementing scalable and robust cloud data infrastructure
  • Collaborate closely with Data Scientists, QA, Product Managers, and Software Engineers in a fast-paced, agile environment (2-week sprints)
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and ensure high data quality, performance, and reliability
  • Help transition from external consultants to an internal capability-driven team
  • Operate with autonomy in aflat, startup-like environment


RequirementsYou Bring

  • Danish language proficiency(spoken & written)
  • Currently residing inDenmark(visa transfer possible, but sponsorship from abroad not available)
  • Solid experience withAzure data servicesandDatabricks
  • Strong skills in building and managing ETL pipelines for batch processing
  • A startup/scale-up mindset – comfortable working with minimal governance, able to take initiative and own solutions
  • Experience in agile development environments
