Job description

The Architectural Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing architectural works throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that construction execution, technical office activities, quality standards, and project schedules are fully achieved. The role requires strong coordination between site teams, technical office, consultants, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise all architectural aspects of construction projects from mobilization to handover.
  • Oversee site execution to ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
  • Lead and coordinate technical office activities, including shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and RFIs.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and contractual requirements.
  • Review and approve architectural details, finishes, and mock-ups.
  • Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other disciplines to resolve technical issues.
  • Manage subcontractors and suppliers related to architectural works.
  • Prepare progress reports, schedules, and look-ahead plans.
  • Ensure timely completion of works within approved budgets and timelines.
  • Support project closeout, snagging, and final handover activities.


Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural project management, with strong exposure to construction execution and technical office work.
  • Proven ability to supervise site works and ensure compliance with quality standards and project schedules.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and architectural finishes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple teams and coordinate with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools (Primavera / MS Project is an advantage).
