About the job Demand Planner

Location: Cairo, Egypt (Office-based, with occasional local and international travel)


Job Summary

He/ She will drive order management and design operations, ensuring optimal performance within an assigned portfolio of markets. The role focuses on aligning customer needs with the company's value proposition, enhancing supply chain integration, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a core member of the Key Account Management team to deliver business planning, strategic cost optimization, and sales development for customers.
  • Align the company's value proposition with customer business strategies to improve service levels, strengthen loyalty, and enhance supply chain efficiency.
  • Manage end-to-end order and design processes, including order entry, design administration, invoicing, claims handling, logistics, customs, and after-sales support.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (Planning, Production, Procurement, Logistics, Quality Assurance, Sales & Marketing, Finance, and Customer Representatives) to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Understand customers' specific supply chain needs and develop customized account plans to continuously improve service levels.
  • Identify and execute digitization strategies such as advanced order planning and e-business tools, in addition to routine order and design management activities.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects that generate mutual value for the company and customers, delivering measurable results.
  • Forecast and implement tactical sales plans while supporting strategic material planning to achieve flexibility and efficiency.
  • Drive operational excellence initiatives from a customer perspective, in alignment with World Class Manufacturing (WCM) standards.
Requirements

Education & Certifications


  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering or Supply Chain Management (not mandatory).
  • Relevant certification in Supply Chain Management is a plus.

Experience


  • +2 years of experience in customer service, order management, demand planning, or supply chain roles (preferably in the packaging or related manufacturing industries).

Skills


  • Language: Excellent command of English.
  • Computer: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Very Good to Excellent), Power BI, ERP systems (preferably SAP), and ability to learn new tools quickly.
  • Interpersonal: Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, analytical thinking, comfort with numbers, problem-solving, negotiation, technology proficiency, flexibility, multitasking, self-motivation, ownership, and accountability.

Other Requirements


  • Industry preference: Supply chain background, ideally in packaging or manufacturing.
  • Travel: Yes, 1-2 customer visits per week(in Egypt; occasional travel abroad as needed).
  • Car: Required.
