Leverage your technical leadership and join a well-established and renowned Emirati construction company, recognized for delivering complex power and energy infrastructure projects across the UAE and the wider GCC region.


As an Electrical Estimation Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the full tendering and estimation process for electrical and ELV projects, including high-voltage cable laying works up to 400kV, substations, and infrastructure networks. The role requires strong proficiency in CCS pricing software, accurate take-off capabilities using PlanSwift and AutoCAD, and solid experience in tender documentation, supplier coordination, and preparing competitive and compliant submissions


Key Accountabilities
  • Conduct comprehensive studies and detailed review of tender documents, drawings, BOQs, specifications, and scope requirements.
  • Prepare and manage RFIs, RFQs, and tender logs, ensuring all submissions and clarifications are tracked accurately.
  • Maintain detailed tender logs for each project, ensuring full documentation control and timely updates.
  • Perform accurate quantity take-offs for complete projects using PlanSwift and CAD software.
  • Prepare detailed comparison sheets for suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring cost competitiveness and technical compliance.
  • Follow up with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely receipt of quotations and required technical documents.
  • Execute detailed pricing of entire projects in CCS software, ensuring accurate cost build-up and compliance with tender requirements.
  • Prepare technical qualifications and supporting documentation for tender submission.
  • Support the team in meeting tender deadlines and ensuring submissions are complete, accurate, and aligned with client requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

We Are Looking For:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in electrical estimation and tendering within the UAE/GCC contracting industry.
  • Strong experience in handling projects such as:

- HV cable laying works up to 400kV


- 400kV, 220kV & 132kV substations


- 33/11kV Primary substations, switching stations & distribution substations


  • Building projects including Electrical and ELV works.
  • Infrastructure works including street lighting networks, power networks, pumping stations, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of CCS software for pricing and cost build-up.
  • Proficiency in PlanSwift and AutoCAD for take-off preparation.
  • Excellent skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills to manage suppliers and subcontractors effectively.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
