IT Infrastructure Team Lead

Job Objective:

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Lead to oversee and enhance our organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring it aligns seamlessly with our business objectives. This role is pivotal in managing our technology resources, optimizing performance, and implementing innovative solutions that can drive our marketing efforts forward. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of IT systems, networks, and security protocols, as well as the ability to lead a team of IT professionals effectively. You will be responsible for designing and implementing IT infrastructure strategies that support our marketing initiatives while ensuring robust security measures are in place to protect sensitive data.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaboration & Identity Expert-level administration and governance of Google Workspace (formerly G Suite), including advanced security settings, DLP policies, Gmail routing, Vault eDiscovery/retention, and API integration.
2. Mastery of Microsoft Active Directory (AD), including design, implementation, and maintenance of Group Policy Objects (GPOs), organizational units (OUs), DNS/DHCP services, and security hardening.
3. Proven experience with Hybrid Identity solutions, ensuring seamless synchronization and Single Sign-On (SSO) between on-premises AD and cloud identity providers. Demonstrable experience implementing and managing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) across enterprise applications.
4. Virtualization & Compute Advanced administration and troubleshooting of enterprise-grade virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere strongly preferred), including vCenter management, resource pooling, high availability (HA), and distributed resource scheduling (DRS).
5. Solid experience with server hardware lifecycle management, patching, and performance optimization for virtualized Windows and Linux environments.
6. Storage & Data Management In-depth, hands-on experience managing and maintaining enterprise Storage Area Network (SAN) and Network Attached Storage (NAS) systems. Must be proficient in LUN provisioning, capacity planning, RAID configurations, and optimizing I/O performance.
7. Expertise in designing, implementing, and regularly testing comprehensive Data Backup and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions, utilizing snapshots, replication technologies, and restore validation (e.g., Veeam, Commvault).
8. Network & Security Strong, hands-on experience configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Sophos Firewalls (or comparable next-generation firewalls like Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Cisco Meraki).
9. Proficiency in managing firewall rulesets, VPN (Site-to-Site and Remote Access), intrusion prevention (IPS), web content filtering, and network traffic shaping on security appliances.
10. Solid understanding of core networking concepts including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, and switching.
11. Endpoint Management Proven experience leading the implementation and day-to-day administration of a modern Endpoint Management platform (e.g., Microsoft Intune, Google Endpoint Management, or SCCM).
12. Proficiency in developing and deploying secure, standardized operating system images, automated software deployment, and comprehensive patch management across large fleets of Windows and macOS devices. Leadership & Soft Skills Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to lead infrastructure projects on time and within budget. Superior troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities across complex, multi-system environments.

Required Qualifications

Experience & Education Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience.

     Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or a similar capacity.

     Minimum of 2 years of experience in a lead, supervisory, or technical architect role, responsible for strategic planning and mentoring.
