Job Summary:



We are looking for a skilled IT Support Specialist with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. This individual will be responsible for providing end-user support, troubleshooting technical issues, and assisting with maintaining the overall health of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and the ability to communicate effectively with users across various departments.


Role & Responsibilities:


  • Provide day-to-day technical support to employees by troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Support operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and ensuring system performance is optimized.
  • Assist with network troubleshooting, including resolving issues related to Wi-Fi, VPN, and LAN connectivity.
  • Maintain accurate records of technical issues, resolutions, and IT asset inventory.
  • Respond to service desk tickets in a timely and professional manner, providing solutions to hardware and software problems.
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and support of enterprise applications, cloud services, and software solutions.
  • Perform software updates, system patches, and regular system backups to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Assist with maintaining security protocols by enforcing password policies, antivirus software, and other IT security practices.
  • Help onboard new employees by setting up their IT systems, software, and access to necessary tools.
  • Collaborate with the IT team on system upgrades, deployments, and improvements to the IT infrastructure.
  • Document support procedures, common issues, and solutions to build and maintain a knowledge base for internal use.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on software tools, security practices, and IT best practices.

Experience & Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Excellent level of English Language written and spoken
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in an IT support or technical support role.
  • Solid understanding of computer hardware, software, and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
  • Hands-on experience with network troubleshooting, including managing basic network configurations (Wi-Fi, VPN, LAN).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and productivity tools such as Microsoft 365, and other collaboration software.
  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory and user account management.
  • Familiarity with backup procedures and system maintenance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure to resolve technical issues.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical users.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.

Additional Skills (Preferred but Not Required):


  • Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) tools, such as ServiceNow, Jira.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Knowledge of IT security principles and tools (e.g., antivirus, firewalls, encryption).
  • Experience in supporting remote users and remote desktop environments.
  • Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) to automate tasks and troubleshooting.
