Responsibilities:
● Media Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets and journalists.
- Develop and execute media outreach campaigns, including press releases, media pitches, and interview opportunities.
- Monitor media coverage and analyze media sentiment
● Crisis Communication:
- Identify potential crises and develop crisis communication plans.
- Respond to media inquiries and social media comments in a timely and effective manner.
- Manage crisis situations with professionalism and transparency.
● Content Creation:
- ○ Write compelling press releases, blog posts, and other content to promote our brand and services.
- ○ Develop engaging social media content to increase brand awareness and drive engagement.
● Event Planning and Execution:
- ○ Assist in planning and executing PR events, such as press conferences, product launches, and industry events.
- ○ Manage event logistics, including invitations, RSVPs, and on-site coordination.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in public relations, preferably in a startup or technology company.
- Strong understanding of media relations, social media, and content marketing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for the startup ecosystem and a keen interest in technology.
