Role Purpose

The Learning & Capability Development (L&CD) team member is responsible for the design, delivery and evaluation of the annual training plan for employees based on the Corporate strategic direction and Business Units’ objectives and needs. Business Units are divided into accounts, each handled by the Learning & Capability Development expert who works closely with account SPOCs to deliver best in class blended learning plan and solutions.


The job holder is also responsible for enhancing and delivering impactful ‘learner experience’ delivered through different learning interventions and modalities (i.e.: VCTs, External Vendors, Online) focused on functional and interpersonal capability development for handled account, owning also the Induction experience for new joiners within their respective functional areas.




Role Profile
  • Diagnoses learning and capability development needs at departmental level aligned to strategic pillars of Vodafone Egypt to meet people needs – driven from strategic priorities, business KPIs, people survey results, and HRBPs input (if any) - ensuring high-level alignment with Vodafone Group L&CD strategic direction
  • Manage high learner impact and achievement of learning objectives by applying knowledge of learning styles and 70:20:10 learning approach to design a blend of existing learner-led, instructor-led and online solutions to achieve learning outcomes (i.e. digital, face to face training, coaching, etc.

Competencies & Qualifications

Core competencies, knowledge and experience :


  • Knowledge and understanding of account’s  vision
  • Instructional design
  • Facilitation of training and coaching experience at different levels of hierarchy
  • Initial experience in utilising virtual channels for facilitation
  • Self-driven individual that connects quickly with individuals and audiences in order to build rapport

Must have technical / professional qualifications:


  • Minimum 3 years in experience in HR
  • Learning & Capability Development Experience is a plus
