Job Summary The Logistics Specialist is responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and optimizing the movement of goods, materials, and shipments to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant delivery.
The role works closely with suppliers, transporters, warehouses, and internal stakeholders to support smooth logistics and supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments (local and/or international).
Plan and monitor transportation routes, schedules, and delivery timelines.
Prepare and review shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, delivery notes, customs documents if applicable).
Liaise with freight forwarders, transport companies, customs brokers, and suppliers.
Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, damages, or discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and local/international regulations.
Monitor logistics costs and support cost optimization initiatives.
Maintain accurate logistics records and reports in the system.
Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, sales, and finance teams.
Support inventory accuracy by aligning deliveries with warehouse capacity and demand.
Handle customer or internal inquiries related to shipment status.
Participate in continuous improvement of logistics processes.

2–4 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain roles.
Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, agriculture, or trading environments is a plus.
Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
Knowledge of shipping documentation and transport operations.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Strong problem-solving and follow-up abilities.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
