Egypt Education Platform is seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Maintenance Supervisor at GEMS British International school of Madinaty to oversee the maintenance operations at our educational facilities.
The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that all buildings, equipment, and systems are maintained to the highest standards, providing a safe and conducive learning environment for students and staff.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff and contractors, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Plan and implement a preventive maintenance program for all facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and address maintenance issues promptly.
Manage work orders, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely completion of maintenance requests.
Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment and order replacements as needed.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all staff.
Train and mentor maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
Assist in budgeting for maintenance projects and managing expenditure within allocated budgets.

High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in facilities management or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in maintenance supervision or facilities management, preferably in an educational setting.
Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
Excellent leadership and organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage a team.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficient in computer applications, including maintenance management software.
Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
