Objective:



  • Responsible for ensuring that products and processes meet the required quality standards and specifications set by the organization.

Responsibilities:



  • Identifying, tracking, and documenting software defects using issue-tracking systems to ensurethetimelyresolution of identified issues.
  • Assistingin developing andmaintainingautomated test scripts and frameworks to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes.
  • Performing regression testing to ensure that software modifications and enhancements do not introduce new defects or impact existing functionality.Creating andmaintainingtest documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test reports. Document test results, defects, and any necessary steps for reproducing issues.
  • Assistinginexecutingassigned test cases and cross-testing on other stories and log issues, tracking them until closure.Collaborating with software development teams to understand project requirements and design test plans.


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer scienceor any relevantfield. 
  • 3to5years of experience.
  • Good understanding ofsoftware testing methodologies, tools, and best practices. 
  • Familiarity with manual and automated testing techniques, including test planning, test case design, and defect tracking. 
  • Familiarity with scripting or programming languages. 
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and their impact on quality control process.
