The ideal is an experienced and visionary Network Architect Principal who provides technical leadership and guidance across the organization. They are responsible for creating foundational architectures, strategic roadmaps, and standards to ensure a secure and scalable network infrastructure organization wide. This role requires understanding of both business objectives and technical specifications to craft sophisticated network solutions suitable for global implementation. The successful candidate delivers technical leadership and advisory services throughout the company, from high-level strategic decisions to day-to-day network escalations. They possess deep technical expertise, excellent communication skills, a proven track record of designing and implementing complex network architectures, and a strong understanding of industry-specific network requirements and design procedures.


Key Responsibilities:


Create foundational architectures, strategic roadmaps, and standards to ensure a secure and scalable network infrastructure organization-wide, aligning with business goals and technological direction.


•             Provide technical leadership and guidance to network engineering and operations teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.


•             Design and implement complex network architectures, including LANs, WANs, wireless networks, internet connectivity, third-party access solutions, cloud service integrations, cloud networks (AWS, Azure, GCP), and VPN configurations to meet high availability standards.


•             Evaluate and recommend new networking technologies, products, and services, offering recommendations for network development and improvements based on understanding cutting-edge technologies.


•             Develop and maintain network architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices, ensuring consistency, security, and compliance across the organization.


•             Conduct architecture reviews to ensure compliance with standards and best practices, identifying and addressing any potential issues or risks related to network design and implementation.


•             Act as a top network support escalation for network operations across environments, handling advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and integration tasks as needed.


•             Ensure all network infrastructure adheres to relevant regulatory requirements and internal security policies, including regular audits and updates, with experience in regulatory or compliance networks such as NERC / CIP or SOX highly desired.


•             Lead and participate in ideation and concept design, creating new and reusable hardware architectures for current and new product categories.


•             Provide strategic direction for the planning, design, and architecture of high-quality, complex hardware systems.


Work with different constituencies including Product Group Technology Leads, Product Managers, Marketing, Sales/SEs to define technology roadmap.


Required Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Architecture.


•             10+ years of experience in network architecture, including 5+ years in senior roles, with experience in Automotive technology manufacturing.


•             Skilled in designing and managing complex global networks: LAN/WAN, data centers, cloud, wireless, hybrid environments, and security.


•             Expertise in network security, SDN, and cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP).


•             Deep understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing, and VPNs.


•             Proficient with network automation, monitoring, and observability tools.


•             Experience in vendor management and network procurement.


•             Demonstrated experience in network architecture at the enterprise level.


•             History of leading and mentoring others (in official or unofficial capacities).


•             Strong technical background across a diverse set of network technologies (routing, switching, firewalls, etc).


•             Demonstrated skills in support of technical documentation creation and management.


•             Experience with regulatory or compliance networks such as NERC / CIP or SOX is highly desired.


•             Troubleshooting aptitude is also necessary.

Work Model:


  • All positions will follow a hybrid work model: 3 days from the office (CFC) and 2 days from home.
  • Work schedule is Monday to Friday.
  • you must be willing to travel twice a year for short-term periods.

Flexibility and Shifts:
