Scope


Lead the Import team to deliver key business objectives while safeguarding business health, building and embedding the values of PSA  BDP and ensuring that we continue to strengthen our talent bench to be able to sustain the current and future business structure and growth whilst ensuring that we continue to delivers the best service to the customer by focusing on effective team management and enhancing productivity.



Responsibilities


Strategic. Responsible for delivering the overall vision, strategies, developing resources and executing the office targets.
Operational. 
Managing and leading the Import operations team
Managing the operations budgeting as well as full participation in total operations financial planning / focusing
Key responsibility for compliance and documentation for Import  operations
Setting / aligning on key performance metrics and setting up performance standards within operations

Customer Focus. Responsible for key customer’s  ‘front end” relations/development with a focus on continues growth of existing as well as new customer & business portfolio in line with PSA BDP strategy. Acts as a PSA  BDP ambassador/spokesperson representing the company with local governments, local partners, customers and communities, including participation in local boards


Innovation.  Continue process review, development & enhancing of productivity, use IT tools wherever possible. Cost saving initiative and contribute to overall business innovation (be that from a front on backend / process efficiency / streamline perspective) .


Safety and Compliance. Building the team with knowledge on compliance and safety.


Talent Builder.
Identify right talent, ensure proper induction and training.

 Prepare the development plan ensuring the leadership pipeline necessary to secure the growth plans  focused of up scaling & growing capability within the operations
