ABOUT YOUR ROLE:The main purpose of this position is to engage with our partnered vendors for improving their production efficiency in entire denim apparel manufacturing process in a perspective of reduction in cost & lead time and quality. To be successful in this role, you are a quick learner who comes with strong learning ability, analytical skill, creative & critical thinking skill and problem-solving skill.Fluent in English and local language(s) in Egypt are necessary for effective communication internally and externally.Ideally, this role will deliver value adding services to the brands, the sourcing team, and the vendors by implementing projects to improve productivity, quality, and service while exhibiting creativity and agility.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:Include but not limited to

• Review production schedules, engineering specifications, process flows, and other information to identify bottlenecks causing inefficient production in the production vendors partnering with Kontoor Brands.
• Analyzes data, reports, and processes to figure out the root cause of the bottlenecks.
• Generate and recommend feasible solution for tackling the bottlenecks by streamlining/optimizing the production process, utilizing space, manpower, material and equipment in production facilities.
• Motivate our partnered vendors to co-develop and adapt with the solution.
• Collaborate with internal Production team, Sourcing team, Engineering team and Quality Assurance team and to carry out a cost reduction plan.
• Supports operations with worker structuring, process changes and improvements, and maximizing operation efficiencies.
• Assists facilities in workplace safety.
• Prepare quarterly goals and objectives reports are required, as well as detailed factory trip reports with summaries of opportunities, results of tests, and photos/diagrams.
• Figure out how to manufacture parts or products, or deliver services, with maximum efficiency. Enact quality control procedures to resolve production problems or minimize costs.
• Work with customers and management to develop standards for design and production. Reports to a Senior Engineer or Engineering manager.

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Engineering
• Basic knowledge about Woven Apparel manufacturing process
• Basic knowledge about Time Study (for costing)
• Fluent English (in both listening and speaking)
• Analytical skill
• Creative & Critical Thinking skill
• Problem-solving skill
• Advanced Computer skill (Microsoft Word, Excel)
