About the role

The Monitoring team lead is responsible for overseeing the monitoring Engineering operations, ensuring the continuous performance enhancement and availability of Orange Business monitoring services, implementing best practices for proactive service management, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to swiftly identify and resolve service issues. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise in network and service monitoring tools, and a customer-centric approach to maintain high service quality and customer satisfaction

  • Lead the Monitoring Engineering team to ensure effective delivery for Orion Monitoring solution.
  • Develop and implement monitoring strategies, procedures, and standards aligned with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with Service Operations, Network Engineering, and Customer Support teams to ensure swift resolution of service incidents.
  • Analyze monitoring data to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize monitoring tools and processes.

About you

People Management Responsibilities



Lead the Monitoring Engineering team to ensure effective delivery for Orion Monitoring solution.



Financial Responsibilities

Professional Skills



Deep knowledge of the SolarWinds platform, including configuration, customization and management of its various modules.



Understanding of network protocols like TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, and experience with infrastructure (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls).



Soft Skills:



Ability to lead, motivate, and guide the team, foster collaboration, and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.



Skills to manage projects related to the monitoring solution, including planning, scheduling, and ensuring milestones are met.



The capacity to evaluate new monitoring software versions, plan upgrades, and align the solution with business goals.



Educational Background:



A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or Information Technology is highly desirable.



Work Experience:



10+ years of experience, with at least 2 years focused on SolarWinds and a strong technical background in network, system, or application management.



You bring passion, energy, taste for exploration and adaptability. You seek the opportunity to expand your knowledge and develop new skills.
