We have an opportunity for a Project Engineer I. Your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the successful
delivery of Honeywell control systems projects (such as DCS - Experion PKS, ESD
- Safety Manager, and other Honeywell systems like HC-900, HS-81, XLS-3000,
etc.) within established time and budget parameters. You will also engage in
engineering design tasks encompassing hardware design, application development,
documentation, testing, and commissioning, ensuring that all engineering
designs adhere to Honeywell's standards and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engineering, configuration, ordering, and testing for Honeywell DCS/ESD systems.
- Acquire comprehensive knowledge of the full product/solution development and execution cycle for Honeywell offerings.
Develop and refine HMI graphics. - Collaborate on the development and submission of project documentation.
- Participate in site activities, including Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and commissioning of Honeywell control systems.
- Assist the project lead engineer and senior engineer in delivering the project on schedule and within budget.
- Ensure that all necessary prerequisites (such as design inputs, documentation, deliverables, schedules, and budgets) are in place before initiating work.
- Verify that engineered solutions meet project requirements across all disciplines, focusing on functionality, adherence to Honeywell design standards, quality, and support documentation, while minimizing costs.
- Support the lead engineer in monitoring and controlling the project’s technical scope in alignment with the Project Execution Plan and Functional & Detailed Design Specifications; ensure effective change control and recognize risks and opportunities.
- Share technical insights and learnings with the project team.
- Report
on progress and any technical issues or changes to the lead engineer
You Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a reputable university, preferably in Electronics and Communication or Electrical Power departments.
We Value
- Solid understanding of automatic control and control systems (DCS, ESD, PLC).
- 0-2 years of experience in project management and control systems.
- Practical experience with Honeywell control systems (DCS EPKS, SM, PLCs, XLS3000) is a plus.
- Networking knowledge will be advantageous.
- Team player with a desire to learn independently and self-motivate; able to work with minimal supervision.
