Primary Job Function:
 



Provide sales supervisors with the leadership, direction and resources to ensure sales targets are achieved and to liaise with marketing team to ensure short and long- term sales and strategies are applied by the sales team.





Core Job Responsibilities:
 



  • Achieve sales targets with the allocated budget and manpower.
  • Provide direction to facilitate goal-setting process in line with Corporate and Marketing Department.
  • Goal setting per supervisor with a frequent monitoring of their performance; follow up sales administration, monitor progress, measure results, reward incentive payments and perform appraisals.
  • Select, interview new recruits to the sales team and provide in-field coaching to facilitate succession planning.
  • Control and monitor implementation of sales strategies and tactics and provide feedback and market intelligence to Marketing Department.
  • Improve contacts with key accounts: identify opportunities for corporate marketing and cultivate as appropriate.
  • Monitoring of the sales and stocks
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures and serve as a role model to all employees by demonstrating full support of Abbott occupational health, safety and environmental programs.

Education/Qualifications/Experience:
 



  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Science/Human or Vet Medicine/General Science
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a First Line Manager role, with 3 years “Achieve Expectations”
  • Strong coaching and leadership profile.
  • Organization and Industry intelligence.
  • Strong selling skills base, ADS and PNS.
  • Analytical skills and territorial planning technique.
  • Computer skills is a must.
  • Good command of English Language.
