What we're looking for


  • We are seeking a Staff DevOps Engineer to lead and elevate the domain’s cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in cloud platforms (specifically GCP) combined with leadership skills to drive efficiency, reliability, and scalability across our infrastructure.

Responsibilities


  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Lead the design, deployment, and management of scalable, reliable, and secure cloud environments on GCP.
  • CI/CD Ownership: Oversee and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Bitrise, and ArgoCD to ensure seamless deployments and releases.
  • Monitoring & Incident Management: Implement and improve logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions using tools like Sentry and PagerDuty to ensure system health, reliability, and quick incident resolution.
  • Infrastructure Automation: Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using automation tools to manage and scale cloud resources efficiently.
  • Incident Management: Lead incident response efforts, driving root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures to reduce system downtime.
  • Cost Optimization: Continuously improve infrastructure to increase efficiency, reduce operational costs, and optimize cloud resource utilization.
  • Security Best Practices: Enforce network protocols, security best practices, and compliance for all cloud infrastructure and pipelines.
  • Team Development: Provide mentoring, guidance, and training to develop team skills, promote knowledge sharing, and enhance capabilities.

Qualifications


  • 10+ years of experience in DevOps.
  • 4+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership or mentorship role.
  • Proven experience in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Bitrise, ArgoCD).
  • Strong expertise in monitoring and alerting tools (Sentry, PagerDuty, Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent).
  • Proficiency with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of network protocols and security best practices in cloud environments.
  • Experience with databases, specifically MongoDB (setup, scaling, and optimization).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
