About the job Vendor Manager
  • Responsibilities: 
  • Source, evaluate, and select vendors/freelancers to meet business needs.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to ensure cost-effectiveness and high quality.
  • Manage and maintain strong relationships with vendors, acting as the main point of contact.
  • Monitor vendor performance against contracts and SLAs, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (HR, Recruitment, Procurement, etc.) to align vendor support with business objectives.
  • Handle issues or disputes with vendors and provide quick, effective resolutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of vendor contracts, invoices, and performance reports.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost savings or performance improvements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and sourcing tools, especially freelance platforms (Upwork, Fiverr, Toptal, etc.).
  • Prepare regular reports and updates for management on vendor activities and outcomes.
    
  • Requirements:
    
    • 3:5 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, HR recruitment, or talent acquisition.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
    • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Experience managing contracts and SLAs.
    • Knowledge of freelance platforms (Upwork, Fiverr, Toptal, etc.) and vendor sourcing tools.
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
    • Bachelors degree in business, HR, Supply Chain, or a related field (Masters is a plus).
    • Recruitment certificates/courses (a plus)
