QA / QC Manager

Location: Germany

Salary: Market related


Our client is a Global EPC company in the Oil and Gas sector with a current Energy Transmission line project in Germany.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Manage QA/QC department
  • Interface with Client representative for QA/QC Matter
  • Coordinate QA/QC Engineers, officers, Coordinators, Inspectors at field.
  • Cooperate with Procurement Department reviewing procured material ITP
  • Cooperate in the follow up of the Material Inspection Activity with project Expeditors
  • Ensure compliance with Client requirements both of the activities and of the QA/QC Management systems.
  • Coordinate training on QA/QC issues and perform (or assign resource to perform) basic training as well.
  • Produce/Develop documentation with regards of QA/QC in the SOW activities such as:

Quality Plan / Objectives (with support/approval of Corporate Q Management procedures, Method Statement (QA/QC Part) and Quality Control Plan

(QCP).

  • Develop Audit Plan – Survey the correct development of Welding activities by exercising control on the Project Welding Coordinator / Engineer

Implement Corporate guidelines related Reporting and feed-back, Auditing and inspections

  • Check the correct collection of record to achieve mechanical Collection and form QA/QC part of the Project Final Dossier

Skills

Requirements:


  • A bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Engineering, Mechanical preferred or related discipline from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 10 years of project experience in the oil/gas industry.
  • Fully familiar with the requirements of ISO 9001 for Quality Management Systems and able to develop, maintain and implement a QMS in

accordance with that standard.

  • Experience on pipeline construction
  • Fluent in German and English
