The SALES OPERATIONS REPRESENTATIVE (SOR) is the ‘quarterback’ for all sales supporting activities in the geography. The SOR ensures all sellers activities align with the business priorities of the EMEA and global sales team and to the Regional Director’s (RD) objectives.
He / she facilitates all administrative elements of the operational sales process and assists each Extreme Networks seller as well as the total EMEA team towards attainment of their monthly, quarterly, and annual operating plan.

Responsibilities include:


  • Deal registration management within geo, including auditing, approval / rejection and complete conversion to SFDC opportunity/BMI quote
  • Duplication Management, New Customer account creation & Other SFDC Hygiene
  • Complete management of Framework Agreements (set-up, maintenance and regular review)
  • CSS support – specifically End User update
  • Process Documentation of Sales Operational processes
  • Shares best practices and initiatives with the sellers
  • Covers colleague absences when appropriate 

Other Responsibilities


  • He / she reports to the DACH Regional Sales Ops Leader and is part of the EMEA Sales Operations Team.
  • Stakeholders / Business Partners include EMEA RDs, Account Executives as well as Virtual Account Executives, the Channel teams, Services and Support team, aligned SEs, Disti Ops, Order Management Team, Finance and Legal team.
  • Necessary skills will include:
  • Degree level education and/or equivalent experience in sales operations activities
  • Strong German and English
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, presentations, Data Analytics skills
  • Attention to detail and willingness to act both as supporter as well as challenger of field sales teams activities
  • An optimistic, confident and enthusiastic attitude with a progressive and pragmatic approach to achieving goals
  • Self-starter and team player
  • Good relationship-building and problem-solving skills
