We’re seeking an
Associate Implementation Engineer (Public Warning) to join our growing team, based anywhere in Hungary. This is a fully remote, home-based role with international travel required to support customer deployments. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers to help deliver life-saving public warning technology used around the world.
What you'll do:
- Support the deployment and integration of Public Warning solutions (Cell Broadcast and Location-Based SMS)
- Assist with installing, configuring, and maintaining software in Linux environments
- Work closely with senior engineers, project teams, customers, and Mobile Network Operators (MNOs)
- Participate in system configuration, testing, upgrades, and troubleshooting activities
- Help create and maintain technical documentation and implementation procedures
- Support customer training sessions and global deployments
What you'll bring:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent practical experience
- 1–3 years of experience working with Linux systems or production environments
- Basic understanding of IP networking, VPNs, and security fundamentals
- Exposure to cloud platforms, containers, or automation tools (e.g., AWS/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform)
- Some experience with scripting or programming (Python, Bash, Go, or similar)
- Familiarity with databases, monitoring, or CI/CD concepts
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn from hands-on customer work
- Fluent English (additional languages are a plus)
- Willingness to travel internationally as required
Nice to have:
- Exposure to mobile networks or telecom environments (Cell Broadcast, LTE/5G, RAN/Core)
- Experience with monitoring, logging, or CI/CD tools
- Linux or networking certifications (e.g., CCNA)
- Interest in public safety, emergency management, or critical communications technology
