Job Title: Analyst – Workday Integrations & Workato


Position Overview


We are seeking a highly skilled Analyst on our Human Resources Services team to support, enhance, and optimize our Workday ecosystem with a focus on Workday Integrations and Workato. The ideal candidate will serve as a technical subject matter expert, partnering with HR and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions, ensure data integrity, and drive process automation.


This position will be based out of our Bengaluru office and onsite 5 days a week.


Key Responsibilities


  • Integration Support & Development
    • Design, build, test, and maintain Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, APIs).
    • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with business rules.
    • Monitor integration performance and provide ongoing support for production and non-production environments.
  • Workato (iPaaS Automation)
    • Design and implement workflows in Workato to automate business processes across HR, Finance, and other enterprise systems.
    • Maintain and optimize existing Workato recipes to ensure efficiency and scalability.
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify new automation opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with HRS, business stakeholders and vendors to understand integration and automation needs.
    • Provide technical expertise during enhancements and projects.
    • Document processes, integration flows, and technical specifications for ongoing knowledge sharing.
  • Governance & Continuous Improvement
    • Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and audit requirements.
    • Proactively recommend process improvements and emerging technology solutions.
    • Act as a mentor/resource for junior analysts and peers.

Qualifications


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, HR Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:


  • 4–6+ years supporting Workday Integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, Web Services).
  • 1-2 years of experience with Workday Extend application development is preferred, not required.
  • 2+ years designing and managing Workato automations or similar iPaaS tools.
  • Strong understanding of HR, Payroll, and Finance business processes.
  • Proficiency in XML, XSLT, REST/SOAP APIs, and other integration technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
