In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

As an Application Developer specializing in Microsoft Analytics, you will design and develop business intelligence, data warehousing, and reporting applications using Microsoft BI tools and products. You will utilize your strong foundation in SQL Server programming and experience with Power BI to deliver high-quality solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include: * Design and Develop BI Solutions: Design and develop business intelligence, data warehousing, and reporting applications using Microsoft BI tools and products such as Power BI, Power BI Report Builder, Power BI Embedded services, and SSRS. * Write Complex Queries: Write complex queries using Power Query, DAX, R, and TSQL to support business intelligence and reporting applications. * Implement Security Features: Implement security features to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data, while also optimizing Microsoft Power BI dashboards for usability, performance, flexibility, testability, and standardization. * Build Reports and Visualizations: Build reports and visualizations with Power BI to provide insights and support business decision-making. * Optimize Dashboard Performance: Optimize Microsoft Power BI dashboards to ensure they meet performance, flexibility, and standardization requirements.

* Microsoft BI Tools Proficiency: Exposure to designing and developing business intelligence, data warehousing, and reporting applications using Microsoft BI tools and products such as Power BI, Power BI Report Builder, Power BI Embedded services, and SSRS. * Complex Query Development: Exposure to writing complex queries using Power Query, DAX, R, and TSQL to support business intelligence and reporting applications. * SQL Server Programming Foundation: Experience working with SQL Server programming, including building reports and visualizations with Power BI. * Power BI Dashboard Optimization: Exposure to implementing security features and optimizing Microsoft Power BI dashboards for usability, performance, flexibility, testability, and standardization. * Data Visualization Skills: Experience working with Power BI to build reports and visualizations that provide insights and support business decision-making.

* Advanced Power BI Skills: Exposure to advanced Power BI features, such as Power BI Embedded services and Power BI Report Builder, to design and develop business intelligence and reporting applications. * Data Modeling Expertise: Experience working with data modeling concepts, including data warehousing and ETL processes, to support business intelligence and reporting applications. * R Programming Knowledge: Exposure to R programming language to write complex queries and support business intelligence and reporting applications.
