What you’ll do:


  • Accountable for Delivery at the site in terms building a high performing team, ensuring high level of quality & productivity, meet the KPIs and build the culture of Innovation, Growth & inclusiveness.
  • Own the technical and strategic roadmap for Pune. Work with the site leaders to grow the Pune Center.
  • Lead and manage a team of technologists to work with our sales, presales, account teams and engage our enterprise customers to understand their business challenges and requirements.
  • Work with senior customer representatives (up to, and including, C-level executives) to advise and guide on the overall solution.
  • Work with our architectural & engineering teams and Application Migration, Modernisation, Development, Cloud Native Computing, and Database/Middleware to deliver innovative solutions that meet our customer’s needs.
  • Should be able to lead the team to implement critical projects, deliver Proof of Concepts (POC), Product Development, design / build ecosystem on Application Engineering, and onboard workloads.
  • On large scale projects, be able to lead a team of Application/DB Migration & Modernisation resources.
  • Good understanding on various scalable application architecture, assess application complexities, hands on in adapting different technical stack.
  • Experience in application development, application migration, modernization including Containerization/Microservices to AWS or Azure Cloud, Docker.
  • Experience in migrating different application, including different middleware products like JBoss/WebLogic from HPUX to RHEL.
  • Expert/Advance level development and design experience on Different UI JavaScript libraries and frameworks & Web frameworks and Backend Rest APIs
  • Identifying opportunities for additional HPE engagements by taking ownership and demonstrating credibility through agreed milestones.
  • Leading and delivering HPE’s Application engineering solutions into customer environments and ensuring solutions works as specified.
  • Maintaining knowledge of wider Application technologies and concepts, including but not limited to Application Discovery & Assessments, Application Migration, Modernisation, DB Migration, Modernisation and Middleware Migration.
  • Managing stakeholder relationships in the country, across HPE business units, especially GreenLake, Compute, and HPE Services Managing complex multifunction relationships with senior and executive stakeholder management.
  • Managing project financials including business impact within the team with reliable forecast accuracy.
  • Enable growth in Emerging Technologies.
  • Desired Competencies:
  • Minimum 10 - 12 years of experience in Consulting/Solutioning /IT services/ Customer delivery of which at least 5 years worked as Application Migration & monolithic application to Microservices application.
  • Experience in assessing source or on-prem application details (technology stack, integrations, and database) and identify appropriate migration solutions, tools, and strategy.
  • Good knowledge on various application performance, security issues and solutions.
  • Application Design and Implementation experience with the following technologies.
  • Solid solution design and development experience in both server-side and client-side programming essentially covering the full stack of technology for an enterprise application.
  • Must have hands on experience in designing and implementing Restful webservices, authentication/authorization and integration of backend APIs with SQL and NoSQL databases / Oracle will be a Plus.
  • Must have solid experience with React JS library, Angular JS, Vue JS framework for front end development.
  • Solid experience in deploying and monitoring Microservices applications using AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure.
  • Must have experience in multiple backend frameworks like Spring Boot, Python Flask, Python Django, Node JS, Express JS, PHP, Laravel, .Net.
  • Sound knowledge in multiple programming language like Java, Python, PHP, Node JS, C#, C, C++
  • Good understanding on integrating backend services with NoSQL, SQL, in memory database.
  • Middleware application servers including version upgrade: WebLogic, JBoss, WebSphere
  • Hands on with Scripting/Programming Languages: will be a Plus PowerShell, Python, Golang
  • Must have led e2e CI/CD projects with DevOps tool chains.
  • Development environments - DEV, TEST, STAGE, PROD, repositories, code review tools
  • Experience in the following products and technologies would be an advantage.
    • Amazon, Azure, Google Cloud, and alternate cloud products and technologies.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Good communication and leadership skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills.

What you need to bring:


  • Engineering, MCA or IT Degree.
  • Industry Experience 10-12 years in managing the aspects of remote delivery in the professional services delivery (please not the role is not for operations.
  • Experience or Certification on Application Migration / Modernisation & DB Migration / Modernisation. In addition experience delivering Professional services in the IT infrastructure domain is preferred.
  • Excellent people, technical and communication skills.
