Job Description

Overview


To obtain the most suitable Sika admixture approved with Sika customers, such as ready-mix concrete producers, contractors, precast producers etc. In case, standard admixtures do not meet the customer requirements, suggest suitable modifications in the concrete mix design or as a last option do modifications in the admixture formulation to meet the concrete requirements.


Duties and Responsibilities


  • Managing a Team of 3 members for Admixture background.
  • Product approval of new & existing customers leading to sales growth
  • Understand and align product development as per customer requirement
  • Mix designs as per customer requirements.
  • Conduct Laboratory testing relating to Concrete, Aggregates, and Cement.
  • Record, analyse, certify and prepare summaries of findings and maintain records of the results.
  • Troubleshoot to determine reasons for problems of complaints.
  • Provide technical support to customers /contractors on site.
  • Engage into Product demonstration & testing
  • Provide support to Sales team to conduct trials at site.
  • Stay abreast of market trends as well as changes in market and competitive landscape and initiate necessary actions

Qualifications
  • BE / Diploma Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Admixtures. 
  • Must have team handling experience.
  • Must have good knowledge about concrete mix design.
  • Experience in designing concrete mixes for various requirements and do batch corrections.
  • Thorough knowledge about various chemical admixtures.
  • Also, knowledge about different cements and supplementary cementitious materials, testing methods and standards related to cement and concrete
