In this role, you’ll show your mettle as you find ways to uphold excellence and high standards in our procurement process. Working closely with the Procurement Manager to align with Central Procurement for the SAP account and execute Procurement strategies for local and/or national initiatives for Facilities Management and Project Management Services at SAP account. Manage supplier relationships including administrative and operational activities. Ensure all Jones Lang LaSalle sourcing and contracting standards are maintained.


Shaping a system of best practices


  • Lead the and manage all aspects of the procurement service delivery in India Account
  • Provide strategic SCMP direction across functional areas and programs that involve strategic outsourcing and vendor management across multiple IFM disciplines.
  • Develop & present a formal procurement strategy for the account
  • Lead the process of developing vendor management strategy, identifying, sourcing, and securing resources based on business requirements/results.
  • Build appropriate relationships and appropriately engage with all stakeholder groups (client, account management, and corporate procurement) incorporating supplier communication & liaison, market evaluation exercises, and supplier management & governance.
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities and lead annual savings programs.  Annual savings to be agreed each financial year.  Leverage total buying power.  Apply techniques such as category management and cross-functional consolidation.
  • Lead the implementation of continuous improvement programs with key suppliers and major buying groups.  Address this from an end-to-end process and value perspective.  Where appropriate design and/or implement new processes and utilize technology.
  • Develop an understanding of the dynamics of the relevant supply markets.  Develop a supply base that will best meet business goals.  Influence the supply markets to ensure that supply base remains broadest and best in class and continually provides optimum solutions to business requirements.
  • Lead the implementation of best practice procurement strategies and apply these across Account team – both for expensed items and capitalized works.
  • Lead the development of a continuous learning, high performance and enthusiastic working environment in the procurement team.
  • Contribute to the development of a collaborative and team-based culture with account leadership, peers, and the client businesses.
  • Work with Client to build strong relationships and be proactive and engaging; Ensure the clients’ expectations are met each and every time.  
  • Issue RFPs/RFQs to source products and services.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms with Adhoc /Projects vendors to provide best possible solution to SAP.
  • Managing all AMC and price Negation for every Year/Contract execution for AMC & IFM Service vendors
  • Onboarding New Vendor as per JLL Process/Vendor KPI scoring update in Jagger tool/Initiate the Vendor QBR  /Initiate vendor NDA | Work authorization
  • Manage information on cost savings for Adhoc/Project works and provide reports on Cost Savings whenever required.
  • Keep updated on market trends and identify new suppliers for various products and services.
  • Identify suppliers, capabilities, products pricing to establish standardisation of rates for Adhoc/Project requirements.
  • Provide liaison between vendors, site teams, finance team and management to ensure timely payments to vendors.
  • Ensure timely issue of Purchase Order to vendors.
  • Demonstrate continuous effort to improve procurement operations, decrease turnaround time and streamline work processes.
  • Manage data integrity and provide adhoc reports whenever required by the management.
  • Ensure compliance to JLL standard processes and procedures.
  • Knowledge of Indian labour statutory laws. Process Min wages revision on time.

Mastery in the field


You should have earned a diploma or degree in commerce/Management/MBA/Specialization in Supply Chain Management . Having Eight to ten years of experience in facilities management will also prove indispensable. Good written and verbal communication skills, MS Office/Excel, PPT's & Mail communication We’ll also expect you to work as a part of a diverse team in both leadership and individual contributor expertise, initiate energy management program for reducing the cost on utilities.
