Job title:Associate/Corporate Counsel
Location:Pune / Hybrid (as applicable)

Role Overview:We are looking for an addition to our Legal Team in India. The role will support sales, alliances, and business teams by providing comprehensive legal support across customer, partner, and alliance agreements, and broader commercial contracting. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in technology contracts, coupled with the ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, global, product‑led environment and work with stakeholders in different time-zones.
Key Responsibilities:Commercial Contracting- Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize a diverse portfolio of commercial agreements, including:
- Outbound SaaS/subscription agreements, SOWs, order forms
- Strategic alliance, partnership, reseller, distributor, MSPs
- NDAs, MOUs, amendments, and side letters (MAFs)
- Provide timely and pragmatic legal support to facilitate deal closure while ensuring appropriate risk mitigation.
Partner & Alliance Enablement- Support the legal framework for technology alliances, channel partnerships, and ecosystem arrangements.
- Advise business teams on contractual structures to support joint go‑to‑market initiatives.
- Drive consistency and scalability through standardized templates and negotiation playbooks.
Stakeholder Management- Act as a trusted legal partner to sales, alliances, product, finance, and operations teams.
- Provide clear, practical guidance on contractual risks, escalation issues, and negotiation strategy.
Process & Governance- Contribute to continuous improvement of legal processes, contract templates, and knowledge resources.
- Support contract lifecycle management and ensure proper documentation and record‑keeping.
- Assist with internal legal policies and compliance initiatives.
- Be appraised of applicable laws and regulations which may impact day to day work.
Qualifications & Experience- LLB (or equivalent) from a recognized university
- 3–5 years of post‑qualification experience in a technology / SaaS / IT services / cybersecurity company and prior exposure of cross-border transactions.
- Demonstrated experience handling customer contracts and partner/alliance agreements independently
- Strong command over drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements
