Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Global Product Owner to lead our Key Account Management (KAM) Program, which is undergoing strategic deployment in priority markets. The KAM tool allows cross-functional account teams to operate in sync, leveraging common structures and processes, which ultimately enables a better experience for HCPs. The KAM tool is a shared platform which leverages the full team’s understanding and relationships in the account to gain and maintain access and seamlessly shares ‘structured insights’ with relevant stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will work closely with our all-star team in India and take accountability for identifying opportunities for growth and innovation, ultimately driving a product vision, strategy, and corresponding roadmap for Key Account Management. They will lead product discovery by leveraging data, research, and market analysis, then liaising with stakeholders and working closely with cross-functional teams throughout the software development life cycle to ensure effective rollout of new features in markets all over the world.
Key Account Management is part of the field experience product portfolio, which will focus on bringing together data and technology capabilities to allow for the organization to become data- driven and insight-led in every decision to drive revenue and growth. This Associate Director role plays a key role within the broader field experience team focusing on Key Account Management whilst collaborating with other product teams to enhance the end-to-end experience of field teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the global Key Account Management product backlog, prioritizing features and enhancements based on business value and strategic alignment
2. Collaborate with stakeholders across markets to gather requirements and ensure the KAM program meets diverse regional needs
3. Work closely with the development team in India to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and product specifications
4. Oversee the maintenance of Key Account Management tools while driving innovation and evolution of the broader cross-functional account teams experience.
5. Serve as the primary point of contact for Key Account Management related queries and issues from global markets
6. Analyze program performance metrics and user feedback to identify areas for improvement
7. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and GSK policies across all markets
8. Facilitate communication between technical teams, business stakeholders, and end-users to deliver best in industry features whilst driving deep adoption amongst field teams
9. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in the pharmaceutical sales and marketing space
Required Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field; MBA preferred
2. Overall 15+years of experience & 5+ years of experience in product management or similar role, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
3. In-depth knowledge of cross-functional account teams experience and Veeva Platforms
4. Strong understanding of how cross-functional account teams engage with HCPs in their daily activities
5. Experience working with global teams and managing cross-cultural communication
6. Excellent project management and organizational skills
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
8. Exceptional communication and presentation skills
9. Agile/Scrum certification (e.g., CSPO) preferred
Desired Skills:
1. Experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools
2. Knowledge of machine learning and AI applications in pharmaceutical sales
3. Familiarity with regulatory requirements in multiple pharmaceutical markets
4. Experience with pharmaceutical sales
