We are looking for a collaborative, team player who enjoys working with diverse stakeholders and gaining exposure to strategic business transformation initiatives.

What you’ll be DOING

What will your essential responsibilities include?

• Analyze business requirements, desired outcomes, and current environments to develop strategic architecture and roadmap.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts, architects, developers, partners and vendors.
• Support & oversee the full solution lifecycle by:
  • Mapping business capabilities to technical capabilities and solution architecture
  • Assisting in defining non-functional requirements for solution development
  • Designing architecture solutions that align with business needs while following architecture standards, budget and time constrains.
  • Documenting solution interactions, relationships, and onboarding requirements for infrastructure and applications
  • Ensure target-state solutions are scalable, performant and highly available
  • Embedding security by design to comply with Information Security policies, legal and regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Evaluate vendor tools based on capability requirements, future scalability, architecture drivers, providing documented justifications for tool selection.
• Lead design reviews before development and implementation reviews after deployment to ensure adherence to principles, standards, and proper management of the technical debt.
• Establish a continuous feedback loop for teams implementing and interacting with solutions
• Communicate architecture decisions effectively, providing a clear understanding of the end-to-end solution.
• Capture and share best practices, reference architecture, and design patterns with the broader architecture community at AXA XL.
• Engage with vendors to stay informed about their roadmaps and ensure appropriate use of their tools.
• Collaborate with peers to validate architectural designs and stay up to date with domains landscape changes.
• Rise or escalate to the manager when a point is identified as a potential risk.

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Work on complexity issues as part of significant and strategic projects, leveraging knowledge, skills and experience to resolve challenges.
• Proficiency in Azure cloud platform environment (compute, networking, storage, security and identity management).
• Experience defining non-functional requirements (scalability, security, performance, and availability)
• Familiarity with APIs, event-driven architectures, and message queues.
• Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions.
• Must be able to work under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills across all the levels of management.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to adopt to change.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of Agile, Scrum and Continuous delivery methodologies.
• A passion for learning, willingness to go the extra mile and a effective ownership in work.

Desired Skills and Abilities:

• Insurance products & services.
• Possess broad and deep insurance and architecture expertise and knowledge.
• DevOps and Automation knowledge is a plus.
