This role is part of the Transfer Operations team based out of India office. You will work within a global client services function, processing Stocks & shares ISA, Cash ISA and Share dealing transfers while ensuring seamless custody management for IG's clients across EMEA or APAC regions.


Your role in the Team’s Success


We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Analyst to become a key member of our welcoming and collaborative Stock Transfer Team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of stock transfer cases, contributing to our commitment to excellence.


What you’ll do


Key responsibilities:


  • Process Stock Transfers: Efficiently manage the transfer of assets in and out of IG.


  • Perform all tasks related to stock transfers i.e reviewing transfer form for errors, entering instructions in IG's systems, performing settlement checks and monitoring end to end request until closure.


  • Client Communication: Proactively follow up with clients and brokers on transfer cases through calls and emails.


  • Issue Resolution: Address client inquiries and collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues.


  • Quality Control: Conduct thorough reviews of instructions in the systems to ensure accuracy.


  • System Management: Update and maintain internal systems with accurate information.


  • Escalation Handling: Manage escalations from clients and internal stakeholders professionally.


  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all stock transfer processes meet regulatory requirements.


What you’ll need for this role


We are looking for self-starting, enthusiastic team-player who will be willing and able to help colleagues at peak-times.


We are looking for below skills:


  • Basic understanding of stock broking and associated services.


  • Familiarity with the risks associated with Stock Transfers and knowledge on regulatory requirements for UK related to stock transfer will be a plus


  • Ability to work with a great deal of attention to detail


  • Good Microsoft Excel skills


  • Excellent communication skills


  • Willing to work in any shift


  • Should be able to go beyond the roles and responsibility and should be able to help the team members during peak times


  • Excellent organizational skill


  • Deadline/delivery conscious and flexible to changing priorities.
