AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer

What success looks like in this role:

AWS Cloud DevOps experience

Strong scripting

Familiarity with CI/CD tools like - Chef, GitHub, Jenkins, Terraform

• Provides DevSecOps Engineering advice and support across broad scale and complex applications / systems.

• Designs and implements highly scalable and resilient infrastructure architectures to support large scale applications and workloads.
• Develops and maintains advanced automation solutions for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management and application deployment.
• Evaluates, implements and manages DevSecOps tools and platforms to optimize developer productivity, streamline workflows and enhance collaboration – including CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration and observability tools.
• Leads efforts to enhance system performance, identify optimization opportunities and implement solutions to improve scalability, reliability and efficiency.
• Leads security initiatives within DevSecOps Engineering processes, including threat modeling, security architecture reviews, vulnerability management and compliance assessments.
• Develops and tests disaster recovery plans and high availability strategies to minimize downtime and ensure continuity in the event of system failures.
• Refines and optimizes CI/CD pipelines and release processes.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

BA/BS degree and 6-8 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
