Halian are currently looking to hire AWS DevOps Engineer's for a 12-month extendable remote contract. Candidates must be available to start in the next 1-2 weeks. Anyone with a notice period longer than this will NOT be considered.

Required Skills:
  • Expert knowledge of AWS services and architecture patterns.
  • Advanced Infrastructure as Code experience.
  • Strong security and compliance knowledge.
  • Expert-level Linux/Unix administration.
  • Advanced scripting and automation capabilities.
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD practices and tools.
  • Experience with multi-account AWS organizations.
  • Observability and Monitoring Expertise.
  • Grafana-stack experience
  • Performance and Capacity Engineering
  • Experience defining and tracking SLOs and Error Budgets
  • Hands-on programming experience: Go, Python, and/or TypeScript
Desired Skills:
  • Multiple AWS Professional certifications.
  • Experience with multi-cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of cloud cost optimization strategies.
  • Experience with high-availability and disaster recovery
